NCUA Logo

The badge "This credit union is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration." displayed on our website and on other materials from Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union indicates that all shares of our credit union are insured to $100,000 ($250,000 for certain Retirement Accounts) by the National Credit Union Administration, a United States government agency. Please read the Special Bulletin from NCUA.

Effective October 3, 2008 to December 31, 2013, federal insurance coverage is increased from $100,000 to $250,000 on member share accounts. This includes all account types, such as regular share, share draft, money market, and certificates. Individual Retirement Account and Keogh account coverage remains unchanged at up to $250,000 separate from other types of accounts owned. Go to www.ncua.gov for more information.

The NCUA administers a federally mandated insurance fund called the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) that was designed to serve credit unions as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) serves banks and other financial institutions.
